Husky House RPGs - Group 3

Playgroup 3

This is Playgroup 3 for HuskyHouse RPGs, which meets weekly on Friday evening's from 6pm-9pm at Gamers Grove, located at 1212 14th Street, Huntsville, TX 77320.

We will be using the 2024 Player's Handbook, with Adaptations for Classes and Species (Races) from Prior Editions and Supplements, including the 2014 Player's Handbook, Eberron: Rising from the Last War, Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Thieve's Gallery, and Xanathar's Guide to Everything.

New and veteran player's are invited to join us for exploration, role-playing and combat in the fantasy world of Volarus.

2024-10-11 - Session 1

Our adventurers met up on the trail while escorting a mining merchant to the small town of Pine Hollow, located in the western hills of The Far Kingdoms. Upon arrival they learned of two factions vying for control of an old mine. Both the Chosen of Ivrut (a cult of dragon-worshippers) and the Brasscrown Mountain Trading Company are seeking to claim the riches laying hidden in the collapsed Pine Hollow Mine. Shortly after arriving the party was thrown out of the local Temple of Helm by Thrundir Forgeglow, for, as Thrundir put it, having poor manners and being a general nuisance. Returning to the Dusty Cup Inn the party ate and rested until the early morning hours. After witnessing a heated sibling rivalry outside of the Dusty Cup Inn, between Darmil and Jennva Faroven, the party split up, with one group following the brother, and the lone Moon Druid following the sister. The brother, Darmil, was followed through the woods to a point along the Great Pine River where he was observed signaling to someone at the old docks, located on the far shore. Meanwhile, the sister returned to the BMTC Headquarters where she was seen sending a document with one of the local miners. A scuffle ensued when the Moon Druid attempted and failed to take her by surprise. The Druid of the Stars made a valiant rescue, by crashing through the second story window and using Thunderwave to propel both himself and the Moon Druid out the window and onto the streets below. The sister, Jennva, attempted to capture the party on the streets in front of the BMTC Headquarters, however the party narrowly escaped her stonewall trap and fled into the night.
